all of the preparedness for GSOC

After two days long prepare, I set up a whole working environment for gsoc.

As i should reload the bios so many times,Before this, all I think is to find another computer.Now install an virtual box in fedora 9, I almost forget this method to use XP. but virtual box is not very well with usb port.
First, add an group named "usb"with groupid 504.
Second, reconfigure the /etc/fstab(addingnone /sys/bus/usb/drivers usbfs devgid=504,devmode=664 0 0).
2.using usb port to debug coreboot.
my thinkpad t60 does not have serial port.So used the usb port,which because the debug board have such port.this should install the driver of FTDI.FTDI is an chip which can simulate the serial port with usb.
3. finally use proxytunnel as ssh proxy
So damn firewall of school, i can not use ssh to login to dorileo's machine.But it works fine.

but USB option rom,
today tested dorileo's usbrom,but did not know if it work, since the main function has nothing. After I added some printf, it does not work...

the first post of my GSoC 2009

this blog is used for my working life of GSoC 2009.My whole work is adding option rom support for Seabios. I will work together with Leandro.
I will set up the hardware situation in my dominate, including pistachio mainboard(SB600+RS690), SF100 SPI tools.
I think the first things I should do it how to make option rom can send out messages
